Corporate Revenue Analyst

 

 

The Corporate Revenue Analyst plays an important role in a company's business growth by helping maximize revenue and bringing to attention any issues regarding accounting, business procedures or finances. The position will be responsible for the preparation of revenue reports that will assist the Corporate Director of Revenue Management in implementing the Hotel's yield strategies. In addition, the Revenue Analyst will be required to review and analyze reports such as Future Rooms Activity Report, Mix of Sales, Market Vision, STAR, and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities for the hotel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily reports including Daily Revenue, Daily Detail, Group Pickup and any other reports as directed by CDORM.

  • Review and analyze reports such as Future Rooms Activity Report, Mix of Sales, Market Vision, STAR and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities.

  • Prepare Revenue Management Report information for all related meetings

  • Attend and participate in weekly Corporate Revenue meetings and Hotel’s Revenue/Sales meetings

  • Conduct/chair the Revenue meeting in the absence of the CDORM.

  • Work with CDORM to maintain rate and system configurations in various applications

  • Assist the CDORM in monitoring and analyzing demand patterns.

  • Assist the CDORM in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of restrictions and other selling strategies.

  • Assist the CDORM in developing and implementing daily selling strategies.

  • Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct.

  • Monitor and analyze the competition daily / weekly through shop reports and the internet to identify selling strategies and market trends

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Market Vision, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with strong attention to detail.

  • Exception with details and follow up

  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, given tight project deadlines.

  • Experience with Hilton Systems (OnQ R&I, OnQ Revenue Management, OnQ Forecast Management) and Choice Systems (ChoiceCentral, SmartRates).

 

Requirements:

  • At least two years of revenue management or related analytical experience preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems

  • Proficiency working with and creating Excel-based models and PowerPoint presentations

  • Solid analytic skills, detail oriented with the ability to collect, compile and interpret data

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Required education: High school or equivalent.
